Critics of today’s Large Language Model (LLM) revolution are spending much of their time arguing that this isn’t really a “revolution.” It is just the latest iteration of autocompletion algorithms. If you don’t believe this, just ask an AI Bot who is forced to repeatedly say, “I’m sorry, but I’m a large language model trained by OpenAI…I can only generate responses based on the text that I was trained on…”
